Meet Laura Wilde

I’m Laura Wilde — Founder of Embodied Evolution

I know the geography of rock bottom intimately.

My path to becoming a facilitator wasn’t found in textbooks—it was forged through survival. For 30 years, I lived disconnected from my body, my spirit, and my voice. Early life experiences created patterns of nervous system dysregulation that manifested as anxiety, depression, substance dependency, and profound disconnection. My body became a stranger—nothing but an empty vessel.

At a critical turning point, I entered a transformative program specialising in developmental childhood trauma. For the first time, I understood the root cause that had kept me in perpetual survival mode—and why I had always felt and behaved the way I had. This awareness was evolutionary.

What followed was seven years of intensive healing work: trauma therapy, attachment work, CBT, neurodivergent psychology, psychotherapy, and more. But after all that cognitive work, I still wasn’t connecting to my deeper layers.

So I moved into somatic embodied practices—yoga, breathwork, sound healing. I dedicated time to sacred ceremonies, women’s healing circles, and wellness retreats, deepening my connection to nature and community. I spent eight years off all social media, wholeheartedly dedicating myself to the vital work of self-discovery and reconnection to my truest essence.

The breakthrough came when all that cognitive work finally dropped into my body. I didn’t just understand healing—I embodied it.

Now, as Laura Wilde—honoring both the wilderness of nature and the wild woman within—I facilitate the remembrance I once desperately sought. Through breathwork, sound healing, and mindful movement, I hold sacred space for your return home.

This isn’t wellness as luxury. This is healing as birthright.

I create safe spaces where your nervous system can finally regulate, your voice can be heard, and your authentic self can emerge. I guide people who feel disconnected from their bodies and trapped in their minds back to wholeness through somatic healing.

Because you’re not broken. You’re disconnected. And there is a way home.
